Promptly is an alert service for students. We watch employers' own job systems and tell you when something opens. These are the ground rules — what we do, what we don't, and what we ask of you.
What Promptly is
Promptly monitors employers' public hiring systems and notifies you when a matching internship or early-career role appears. Every alert links to the employer's own official posting. Promptly is a signal, not an application service.
What Promptly is not
- We are not an employer, a recruiter, or a staffing agency.
- We do not submit applications for you, and never will.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the companies whose postings we surface. We simply read their public job feeds.
- We do not guarantee you an interview, an offer, or a job.
Who can use Promptly
Promptly is intended for students aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please do not create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email help.promptly@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Free to use
Promptly is free for students. We will never charge you to apply to a job, and no legitimate employer will either. If any posting you find through us asks you to pay a fee, send money, or share bank or Social Security details before hiring you, that is a scam — do not proceed, and please report it to us so we can pull the source.
Accuracy, honestly stated
A posting appears in Promptly only while it is live in the employer's own feed, and drops out automatically once it is filled or pulled. That makes our listings unusually current — but we do not control employers' systems. Deadlines can change, roles can be cancelled, and a feed can go down. Always confirm the details on the employer's official posting before you rely on them. Promptly is provided as-is, with no warranty that the feed is complete or uninterrupted.
What we ask of you
- Give us a real email address, so your alerts actually reach you.
- Use Promptly for your own job search — do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the feed.
- Do not try to break, overload, or abuse the service.
- One account per person.
Your account and your data
You can delete your active account and Promptly alert data from Profile → Settings → Delete My Data. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules, as explained on our Privacy page. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Changes
Promptly is early and actively being built, so these terms will change as the product does. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top.
